Frequently asked questions:
No coaches please, there's no suitable parking or drop-off
Please do not bring your own picnics or drinks
Car parking is free
When does the festival open and close?
Gates open at 10am on both days with last entry at 4.30pm. Trading ceases at 5.00pm. Please follow festival road signs that will direct you to the festival car parks.
Can I bring my dog to the festival?
Friendly dogs are welcome at the festival providing they are kept on a lead and are well behaved. Please do not leave your dog in your car for any reason. Should your dog constantly bark or annoy any other festival goers you will be asked to leave.
Can I pay by credit or debit card at the festival?
BRING CASH!!! Whilst there is a feeble mobile signal at the festival, it gets very congested. We recommend bringing plenty of cash with you.
Is camping available?
There is no public camping on site. The nearest camping is at Little Rodmore Camping https://www.littlerodmore.co.uk/ less than 2km away.
Is there disabled parking?
Yes disabled parking is available.
Are there disabled facilities?
Yes we provide disabled toilet facilities.
Mobility Scooters and Electric Wheelchairs?
We do not have mobility scooters for hire. If you are bringing your own, please note that the site is a rural deer park, with gentle slopes, it is not like a playing field or lawn, and it is quite bumpy in places. That said, we do regularly have visitors using wheelchairs.
Is there a reduced rate for disabled people?
The Great Dorset Chilli Festival does not wish to discriminate against visitors with disabilities therefore the full admission rate will be charged. Contact us for carers' rates.
Coach parking?
There is no parking available for coaches.
Bicyle Parking?
We've moved the bike racks to inside the ticket entrance for extra security. Please bring a lock. Please follow car park signs on arrival.
Can tickets be bought in advance?
Yes until midnight 29th July 2025. Advance tickets are non refundable, unless the event is cancelled. A booking fee will be forfeited.
My tickets haven’t arrived by email
Please check your junk folder to see if the email has been sent there. If not, please email tickets@greatdorsetchillifestival.co.uk with your details.
Is it good value for families?
Children under 11 years enter free, and children 11 to 15 years are just £2.50 in advance (£3 on the gate, prices held since 2016). Family tickets are great value; they admit 2 adults and 3 children, but you only pay for the first child.
